Tawas Lake Day

  • Tawas Lake Boat Launch Tawas, MI (map)

Join us to celebrate and learn about Tawas Lake’s important ecological role. This year we will be doing a group paddle on Tawas Lake to explore the lake and learn about the diversity of aquatic plants that support this special ecosystem.

If you don’t have a kayak of your own, we will have some to share as well as a pontoon boat for those who would prefer not to kayak. Refreshments will be provided.

This event is in collaboration with The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan, City of East Tawas, Baldwin Township, Huron Pines, MSU Extension and EGLE.

REGISTRATION OPENING SOON

This event is hosted by Huron Pines. Huron Pines is leading the effort to inspire lakeshore communities in Michigan to join the Lake Huron Forever initiative.
