The Spring 2025 Learning Circle will focus on Lake Huron’s threatened and endangered species. Participants will leave with an understanding of work being done to protect and enhance the habitats of coastal migratory birds and other species of concern.

Coast Watchers, a community science monitoring program focused on the health of Lake Huron, will run for its fourth year at Huron Pines. This training will introduce you to the Coast Watchers program and cover the basics of data collection.

Join Huron Pines as we expand our network of piping plover monitors for the upcoming monitoring season (May through August). This kickoff event welcomes both seasoned monitors and newcomers interested in contributing to conservation efforts along the Lake Huron coastline.
