Spring Learning Circle

Lake Huron Forever Peer Learning Circles are virtual gatherings that bring together community representatives and technical conservation partners to share current work, developing opportunities and lessons learned from designing and installing green-infrastructure applications in communities around Lake Huron.

The Learning Circles are open for anyone to attend. Whether you are an existing Lake Huron Forever partner, advocate for nature-based solutions or interested in learning more, we invite you to join us and share your work and story. The Learning Circles meet twice per year, once in the fall and once in the spring.

The Spring 2025 Learning Circle will focus on Lake Huron threatened and endangered species. Participants will leave with an understanding of work being done to protect and enhance the habitats of coastal migratory birds and other species of concern in the Lake Huron watershed.

This gathering will provide time to:

  • Learn about dune restoration, land protection, and community science programs

  • Network with other Lake Huron stewards

  • Bring together community representatives and technical conservation partners to share key network updates such as upcoming events and current projects that are protecting Lake Huron's water quality and encouraging community connection

  • Encourage connections to support that Lake Huron Forever can provide regionally
