The World Economic Forum ranks extreme weather events as the number one global risk in the coming decades. As recent events in Canada have made clear, nowhere is exempt.

Dr. Gordon McBean is a world-renowned climate scientist, a member of the Rotal Society of Canada and the Orders of Canada and Ontario, and a Nobel Laureate. He is currently Professor Emeritus in Geography and Environment at Western University and with the Institute of Catastrophic Loss Reduction. His presentation will focus on how to build climate resilience and protect our ecosystems in the face of climate change.
